Fairmined is a label that certifies gold produced by artisanal and small-scale mining organizations. To obtain this certification, they receive a 18 to 24 months long support which allows them to upgrade their equipment, train and set up environmentally responsible practices. Fairmined label enables mining communities to get involved in social development, to guaranty fair wages and working conditions. A rigorous certification and audit system ensure the traceability of the metal from the mines to the jewel you wear.
